Tormey and Fleming can finally enjoy a Pint
After all the hard training and preparation, the Wild Geese must now try to avoid to many nerves and excitement.
Andrew Fleming, a star of the 2008 tour, felt last that the the 2009 squad is even more prepared than last year: "I wouldn't say the atmosphere in the changing room is that different, but we have more confidence in our ability, and we want to make a big statement in France. Despite our results this summer, I think we will surprise a few people."

Geese lose despite great save from Malcolm Lane
"We had to try and adapt. Short-term wins had to be sacrificed in the chase for the big trophies in France. We were a little bit behind it today, a little bit tired in the mind and I needed to see that for myself. I know what I've got to do to make it better now. But I'm certain we are in a good place" - Wild Geese manager Gerard Boylan, in the midst of dejection, has always known how to learn and regroup. Boylan has coped well with the pressure of being a first-time manager of Dublin's most ambitious club. He has brought a dynamism of mind and body that has hoisted the Geese to another level. Dadie gets a Hat-Trick
The Wild Geese finally ended their long-standing winless sequence in the best possible fashion with a 6-4 victory over their fierce rivals on Thursday night. This was their their first win since the 3-2 victory over Amixture back on March 18th.
The Northsiders went one nil ahead, with a freak goal after 15 minutes. The ball spun across the penalty area and into an empty net. They went two nil up when they scored a header soon after.......
