O'Keeffe opened the scoring

The Wild Geese ended up on the wrong side of an explosion of goals in their league game in Irish Town. John O'Keeffe opened the scoring with a fine volley. Emmet Gorman made it 2-1. MPP replied for 2-2.

Gareth found the net for the Geese for 3-2. MPP began to dominate the game and scored three goals on the trot. This came about despite the best efforts of captain Martin McAdam, once again in goals. Gorman scored a late goal, but too late for the Geese to seek a point.
